Me Ashish Chandarana,recently joined this community. I introduce myself as a expert of electricty act 2003 and having detailed knowladge of electricty ploblems and solutions in the state of Maharashtra.

For getting New connections you are not required to spend even a single rupee other than security deposit,service line charges and stam duy of 100/-toward agreement charges. Just fill up application form and encl purchase deed of flat and NOC of corp.

Plz submit your application for electric connection at MSEDCL s office. If your area requires to erect any infrastructure network the there is time limit of max 3 month from the date of application and the entire infrastructure cost shall be borone by MSEDCL ( Liacencee). If you can not wait then you will have to carry out infracture work after getting sanction under non -ddf scheme so that you will get refund of amount spend in monthly bills. Please do not opt for DDF line. In this case you will not get any refund. Further plz do ensure to get acknowladgement of application and correspondance made each time.
