Tata Group undertakes integration of telecom cos

The Tata Group is all set to bring all its telecom companies under one roof. CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena learns that Tata Communications has already begun integrating with Tata Teleservices .

Sources say the process may have already begun in February. The transition plan for TTL and TCL is expected to complete by September 2013.

Tata Group had merged the operations of TTML, Virgin Mobile and TTSL earlier. Meanwhile, both Tata Tele and Tata Communications have declined to comment on a CNBC-TV18 query.Shares of Tata Tele were up 2.10% in late trade on Tuesday, while Tata Comm shares were up nearly 1%.
