Karnataka BJP president K. S. Eshwarappa came under attack on Friday at his residence. No, it was not the Opposition Congress or his friend-turned-foe B. S. Yeddyurappa that launched the attack.
It was a swarm of bees which decided to target the BJP leader and visitors at his residence in Shimoga.
Four journalists also had to bear the brunt of the attack.
Even as a shocked Eshwarappa bolted himself in his bedroom, the visitors ran helter-skelter. Nearly 30 people had to receive medical attention.
Fortunately, Eshwarappa's supporters did not see a political conspiracy behind the attack.
